Summary
The Michigan Department of Natural Resources leased five public-recreation sites within the Beaver Island State Wildlife Research Area to Peaine Township for an initial 2019–2048 term. The named sites include Lake Geneserath Boat Access & Campground, Greene’s Lake Boat Access, and Martin’s Bluff Scenic Outlook, as well as Bill Wagner Campground and Cables Creek Beach Access.
The lease authorizes specified recreation-oriented improvement, maintenance, and public-use management subject to its conditions and DNR consent requirements.
Legal and implementation limits
This is a lease, not proof of title transfer or a current parcel-boundary map. Its permitted-use list is not evidence that each improvement occurred or remains available. Particular wells, toilets, boat launches, camping uses, access rules, or construction require their own source-specific authorization and completion evidence.
