Summary

The workshop included a Conservation Department discussion of illegal bass fishing and winter vehicle access to Lake Geneserath. The department described planned boat, equipment, radio, aircraft, and seasonal-staff responses and suggested restoring immediate Justice Court proceedings. A separate fisheries discussion described Barney’s Lake and Lake Geneserath as comparatively well supplied and considered selective or complete toxicant treatment for Fox Lake.

Evidence and limits

The issue records plans and reported netting observations, not completed enforcement, legal proceedings, toxicant application, or a population survey. The source’s references to Hog and Garden Islands are retained as context without inferring exact enforcement sites or jurisdiction.

Sources

  1. Reports proposed boat and equipment for illegal bass-fishing enforcement around Hog and Garden Islands, radio and aircraft notification, possible reinstatement of Justice Court, and additional seasonal help for Vernon Fitzpatrick. It also records fish-abundance reports for Barney’s Lake and Lake Geneserath and two conditional Fox Lake toxicant options. No enforcement action, court reinstatement, treatment, or later fishery result is documented.
