Summary

The project holds a reproducible public-record collection from the Peaine and St. James Township Boards and their planning commissions. It brings agendas, notices, packets, minutes, resolutions, and related documents into one provenance-preserving discovery layer for civic, planning, infrastructure, and environmental research on Beaver Island.

Evidence and limits

This is a collection record, not a single meeting, ordinance, decision, or authoritative current-code compilation. A file’s title and public location do not alone establish its adoption, vote, legal effect, expenditure, completion, or current status. Drafts, agendas, notices, approved minutes, and final instruments carry different evidentiary weight and must be represented as such in individual KB entries.

The collection is limited to material currently publicly linked from the four official discovery pages and includes explicit failed and textless retrieval states. It is neither a complete municipal archive nor a substitute for records obtained from the township clerk.
