Summary

Little Sand Bay Nature Preserve is a protected Beaver Island property reached through the mapped Little Sand Bay Nature Preserve Access road. A 1994 Beaver Beacon letter describes the community effort to purchase and preserve the property; a 2007 Charlevoix Courier notice directs visitors from Welke’s airport along East Shore Drive and the signed preserve drive to the parking area.

The held sources establish the preserve and its access pattern, but not a deed, final title chain, or legal boundary. The polygon shown here is the current OSM representation.
