Summary
The August 2006 Beacon reproduced a June 2006 Central Michigan University Biological Station evaluation of publicly accessible Beaver Island wetlands. The study was Phase Two of the Beaver Island Recreation Resource Project and covered inland-lake wetlands reachable by automobile, walking, or boating.
Evidence limits
This record documents the published study, not a current ecological survey or legal public-access determination. The report itself excludes wetlands located entirely on private land.
