Evidence and limits
Page 0214 records rocky beach, a bare-rock-and-pebble shore, clay banks, and nearly bare lime pebbles. The continuation, page 0215, records gravel beach with sugar and beech timber, low cedar and fir banks, and fishing shanties and banks at Pleasant Point. These are observations along the marked survey lines in 1847. They do not establish an islandwide ecology, a continuing fishery, occupation, community identity, title, ownership, access, or current conditions.
