Claudia Schmidt is documented in a 2010 Baroque on Beaver preview as a songwriter and jazz/blues vocalist who was scheduled to make her first festival appearance. The same account placed her with Martha Guth and Penelope Crawford at an opening benefit and in a following chamber-ensemble program.1

Later island work

A 2025 post-season roundup identifies the Claudia Schmidt Trio in the Beaver Island Jazz Series. That is evidence of later island programming, not evidence that the 2010 advance program happened exactly as announced.2
