Summary

The September–October 1973 Beaver Beacon warned that the Beaver Island Medical Center’s requested improvements and expansion were under review by the Michigan Department of Health, that continuation of the state physician subsidy was in doubt, and that the Center’s license would expire June 1, 1974.
