Summary

The July 1965 Beaver Beacon reports two large smallmouth bass from St. James Harbor: a five-pound fish caught by Rosalyn Marble at the Beaver Island Boat Dock and a three-and-a-half-pound fish caught by Bob Campbell at Beaver Haven’s new dock. The issue also reports Central Michigan University workers live-trapping, tagging, and releasing 300 chipmunks in one afternoon.
