Summary
Beaver Island Game Club volunteers carried out a water-control experiment at the Cables Creek culvert in spring 1965. Forty sandbags reportedly raised the water 21 inches to improve pike-spawning conditions connected with Lake Geneserath.
Evidence and limits
This is a contemporary project report. It does not supply a creek survey, engineering drawing, later permanence, or evidence that the intervention changed the pike population.
