Summary
This held University of Notre Dame technical report records the Irish Stories project’s 2010–2011 pilot investigation of Irish diaspora, identity, material life, documentary sources, and oral histories on Beaver Island. It is evidence of a completed research program, distinct from the project’s later research design.

The report states that archaeological field investigations occurred at the publicly named Peter Doney Gallagher Homestead (20CX201) on July 5–22, 2010 and July 6–21, 2011.
