Summary
The Helen Collar Church Records are alphabetized transcriptions of cards that Clarke identifies as drawn from Beaver Island Catholic church records and Charlevoix County death records.
Evidence and limits
The series is useful as an attributed finding aid for baptism, marriage, and death material. It is not the original parish register or county death record, and it does not identify every church reference as Holy Cross. Links to Holy Cross therefore express the documented island-Catholic context, not proof that each card came from that parish.
