Summary
The audit matched the name Fox Islands in a Beaver Beacon issue, dated August 1965. It kept the body as a local mention because the same body also names Beaver Island and Saint James. What follows is the indexed context. The page holds more.

out at a large field that was once an air strip and pasture land. From here we can see why it is called High Island, for ahead of us are the high dunes of the Western shore. Picking the highest one, we decide to climb the almost vertical slope. Using trees and shrubs for hand holds and stopping frequently to catch our breath, we finally made it. The view from the top is breathtaking. We can see all the other Islands of the Beaver group plus the Fox Islands to the south, all setting in a bright blue sea. Before us stretches a long chute of sand leading all the way to the beach, more than a mile away. If it were only more accessible, what a ski run it would make in the winter. Scope and limits
A mention is not an event. Where a held source supports one, a curated article
under event/ carries the claim and this record is only its evidence.
Deduplication here suppresses byte-identical bodies alone, so a second OCR
edition of the same page is still a second record. The name is not unique to
Michigan either, which is why the audit tests for a local cue at all. Read the
cited source before you cite it.
