A large printed nautical chart shows irregular coastlines, numerous islands, shallow-water shading, depth soundings, navigation lines, and several compass roses. Land areas are colored ochre and green, while water is pale blue; dense printed notes, labels, and measurement tables occupy the margins and open water.
