A large cream-colored nautical chart shows an extensive waterway bordered by irregular shorelines. Numerous depth soundings, navigation lines, coordinate grids, and place labels fill the chart, with several compass roses, marginal notes, and tabular information. A formal title block appears near the lower center, and a smaller inset map is printed in the upper-right corner.
