A large, full-color nautical chart shows an extensive waterway bordered by detailed coastlines, bays, islands, channels, and harbor plans. The water area is covered with depth soundings, contour lines, navigation symbols, compass roses, and route markings. Shore areas are shaded tan, water is pale blue and white, and explanatory notes, scales, and diagrammatic tables fill the margins.
