Summary
Frank D. O’Donnell, age 79, died October 16, 1973, at a Grand Rapids nursing home where he had been a patient for six months. A rosary was held October 18 at the family home in Peaine Township; Rev. Herbert Graf, O.M., officiated at the October 19 Holy Cross Church service, followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Evidence and limits
The obituary says O’Donnell was born in Peaine Township on October 4, 1894, married Nellie McDonough in Detroit in 1933, and lived on Beaver Island until moving to Grand Rapids 13 months earlier. It is not a civil death certificate or cemetery register.
