Mrs. H. Joseph “Bid” Sendenburgh, identified in the January 1972 Beaver Beacon as Bridget McDonald, died at her Beaver Island home on December 16, 1971. A funeral was held at Holy Cross Church on December 20, followed by burial in Holy Cross Cemetery.
