Summary

The November 1957 Beaver Beacon reported a Holy Cross Parish winter recreation program for teenagers, sponsored by the Altar and Holy Name Societies. Planned activities included hayrides, dances, sleigh rides, skating, basketball, table tennis, and card parties. The first hayride, held October 25, ended at the Hall for refreshments and drew 25 to 30 people. The February 1958 issue reports a January 24 sleigh ride with sandwiches and hot chocolate at the Shamrock. The March issue reports a February 7 teenage square dance with the Nackermans and Gallaghers in charge.
