Summary
Beaver Island Community School students presented Wingin’ It!, a play by Stephen Murray about growing up and leaving home. The June 2009 Beacon said the performance drew a nearly full audience and that a raffle of donated prizes sent the evening’s proceeds toward another fifth- and sixth-grade expedition to Camp Hayo-Went-Ha.
