Summary

The Beaver Island Wildlife Club reported that a 32-turkey release from two years earlier had progressed from survival to an expanding flock. For winter, the Club maintained five corn-feeding stations, spread 1½ tons of corn, and kept four additional feeding barrels available. It also reported mowing more than 20 acres and spreading four tons of fertilizer on forage lots.

Evidence limits

This is a club report in the newspaper, not a wildlife census, release permit, or independently measured habitat-management record.
