Summary
Gertrude Janet “Trudy” Boyles died on August 15, 2003, at age 92. The September Beaver Beacon records that she and Dale Boyles had maintained a seasonal Beaver Island residence since 1996, that she belonged to the Beaver Island Christian Church, and that memorial tributes could support Island EMS or the Beaver Island Rural Health Center. Dale’s accompanying note remembers her Island friendships.
