Summary
On August 21, 2005, Skip Duhamel and Larry Robinson helped rescue the 80-ton, 65-foot wooden Irish trawler Tesoro after it broke loose near the Beaver Island Marine Museum and drifted toward the sand flats. Jim Campbell assisted from a Whaler, while the owners and their family returned to the vessel.
Evidence limits
This is a newspaper account of a local salvage response; it does not provide a formal marine casualty investigation or a complete account of the vessel’s later voyage.
