Summary
Beaver Island’s entire school traveled by boat to Charlevoix on May 1, 1974. The junior and senior group made a six-day trip through Lansing, the Dayton Air Force Museum, King’s Island, Cincinnati, and other stops. The younger groups visited Lansing, the Capitol, Greenfield Village, farms, museums, and public- safety facilities; the May–June issue says the trips were a success and reports the grades 5–10 and grades 1–4 groups returning to Charlevoix on May 3.
