Summary

The April-May and October-November 2014 Beaver Beacon issues report Radio Beaver Island’s progression from working-group planning to a full-time internet stream, a Community Center air studio, interviews and special programs, and work toward FCC-authorized 100.1 FM facilities. In December 2017, WVBI reported a temporary transmitter failure before Christmas Eve programming, then reported that the problem had been fixed and that 100.1 FM was back on the air; Beaver Island News on the Net also reported live-streamed Christmas services and community programming.

Evidence limits

The 2014 issues document the stream and studio as well as planned over-the-air facilities; the 2017 forum statement documents operation but does not establish the installation date, licensing history, or continuity of service.
