Summary
The October 1988 Beaver Beacon invited island residents to participate in Project FeederWatch, a Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology cooperative study of winter bird distribution and abundance. Participants were asked to count feeder visitors every two weeks and submit the observations for analysis.
