In April 2015, Beaver Island Forum participants reported that Ospreys had returned and discussed one bird at a nest near the island’s microwave tower. Pam Grassmick also relayed information attributed to a state-linked surveyor about long-term Eagle and Osprey monitoring and possible competition from increasing Bald Eagle nesting.
