Summary
The January 1969 Beaver Beacon reported three holiday open houses: Buzzy and Alberta LaFreniere’s on New Year’s Eve, John and Mary Adams’s cottage open house on January 1, and a January 3 surprise open house for Gerry and Carol LaFreniere. The Adams guests were transported by snowmobile across the snowy area between the road and the cottage.
