Summary
The March 2007 Beaver Beacon’s historical section republished March 1907 reports about mail carriers Willie Gibson and Raymond McDonald, whose sleigh trip toward Cross Village was threatened by broken channel ice. The reports placed them temporarily on Garden Island before they were taken off by boat.
