Summary
The July 2008 Beaver Beacon’s historical column reprinted a Charlevoix Courier account of the revenue cutter Tuscarora pursuing the yacht Wanderer and arresting its owner, John Seavy, on an alleged piracy charge.
Evidence limits
This is a later newspaper reprint of a historical account. The arrest and the piracy allegation should be checked against the cited July 1908 Courier issue.
