Summary
The Beaver Island Historical Society reported receiving forty-two artifacts associated with the Dormer family, including kitchen objects, Indian baskets, a Bible said to have belonged to James Jesse Strang, and books from the 1850s. The Society also solicited photographs and histories of boats that served the island and Civil War mementoes.
