Summary
On October 10, 1990, the Chamber’s Wildlife Education Committee brought Michigan United Conservation Clubs to Beaver Island for a wetlands program. Tim Treadway presented to students and adults, using live animals to explain wetland value, habitat loss, and wildlife stewardship.
