Summary
On July 24, 2002, Beaver Islanders met Michigan Land Use Institute staff to discuss water and scenic-resource protection, sprawl, highways, land-use choices, and ways communities can influence state policy. The next morning the group met with Peaine Township’s Planning Commission about the Island-wide master plan.
