After a January school closure, the Charlevoix County Commission on Aging clarified that Beaver Island’s home-delivered and congregate meal programs were suspended whenever the local school closed for safety. It said recipients were informed and that freshly prepared frozen meals were available for inclement weather.
Evidence limits
The Commission’s forum reply is an institutional clarification of policy. It does not provide delivery logs, recipient-level evidence, or an audit of whether every client received timely notice.
