Summary
State-aid cuts forced Northland Library Cooperative to sell its building and end its Books for the Blind exchange. Beaver Island Library consequently lost interlibrary loans but retained its large-print collection and continued to offer books, recorded books, public computers, wireless internet, videos, and music CDs.
