Summary
Two days after the Acacia opened the main channel, James “Jimmy Ken” Kenwabakisee used his boat to break a passage from his dock to the ferry channel. The Beacon described repeated ramming and backing maneuvers through the harbor ice before he and his companions made a celebratory circuit.
