Summary
The 1988 Museum Week children’s treasure hunt used the harbor as a history lesson. Clues connected current businesses and museums with former saloons, hotels, meat markets, homes, lumber-company sites, stores, and net sheds. The completed hunt ended with postcards and Junior Historian awards.
