Summary
At its September 28, 1989, meeting, the Beaver Island Historical Society reviewed a newly reported stone circle, expected follow-up by the Hodgkins, and the need for an academic or other organization to investigate and protect the circles. The meeting also recorded work on the Protar house, Heritage Park, the BOBS, and the acquisition of wooden type said possibly to be associated with the Northern Islander.
Evidence limits
The stone-circle discovery and attribution of the type are recorded as meeting reports, not archaeological identifications or authenticated provenance.
