Summary
After obtaining long-awaited permits, the Beaver Island Historical Society began protecting the Marine Museum shoreline with a 70-foot revetment of sand, landscape cloth, and fieldstone. It also began building a roof over two historic fishing boats, using cedar posts cut with permission on Rod Nackerman’s property.
Evidence limits
The report documents project progress and material choices but not final completion, engineering approval, or long-term shoreline performance.
