Summary

The March 2014 Beaver Beacon reports that two 50-foot-wide lots north of Beaver Island’s Veterans’ Memorial were to be purchased, placed under a Little Traverse Conservancy conservation easement, and given to St. James Township. The April-May issue reports that the purchase had been completed and that the lots would remain grassy, undeveloped, and publicly accessible.

Evidence limits

The issues document the reported completed purchase and planned Township transfer; they do not provide a deed or recorded-easement instrument.
