The surviving May 1, 2000 Beaver Beacon page reports the accepted settlement from the Great Lakes Energy three-phase cable inquiry. The monthly payment was reduced from $12.75 to $10.25 and capped at “not to exceed” $10.25, future cable replacement was assigned to all GLE ratepayers, and the settlement covered the 30-year agreement and future generation or transmission equipment.
