Sources
- Reports that the Game Club contacted the DNR about the possibility of planting trout again in Fox Lake and was discussing bringing in a few new deer for genetic renewal of the island herd. It says the deer were first planted in the late 1920s and that about twelve animals founded the current herd; it is a club notice, not a stocking permit, fish survey, genetic study, or wildlife census.
