Summary
In March 1964 the Beaver Island Game Club, working with the Conservation Department, cleared a section of cedar swamp west of Wicklow Beach to improve game habitat. The Beaver Beacon also reports another cut on the southwest side of Beaver Island. The notice says the fallen cedars were intended to provide deer food and cover for rabbits and other small game.
