Summary

On April 11, 1971, a fire-equipment demonstration was held at the Beaver Islander dock. The report says most high-school boys practiced the engine pumper and adjustable nozzles, learned about rescue-breathing apparatus, and saw Michigan Department of Natural Resources equipment. “Bud” Mc Donough and Bill Wagner headed the demonstration.

Evidence and limits

This is an episode-qualified training and equipment demonstration. The source does not identify a formal fire department, name the students, specify the equipment models, or establish whether the demonstration led to a continuing training program. The printed “Bud” record is kept separate from other McDonough records whose identity is not independently bridged.
