Summary
On July 3, 2014, a Beaver Island subscriber reported that TDS DSL modems remained connected but data could not move beyond the island for roughly twelve hours. Other participants reported that cellular data continued to work, and a later post documented an informal AT&T test from Cable’s Bay and Barney’s Lake Road, including variable signal strength and speeds.
Evidence limits

- A subscriber reported that data traffic stopped beyond Beaver Island from approximately 6:30 a.m. to 6:49 p.m. during a DSL outage and said support described a down circuit. Another participant reported cellular data working; a later subscriber measured variable AT&T signal and speed from Cable's Bay and Barney's Lake Road.
