Summary
From November 2015 into January 2016, Beaver Island Forum participants preserved memories of a former fish-shaped swimming pool near Donegal Bay. Participants recalled using the pool and showers in the early 1970s, described its later sand-filled state, and shared three 1973 photographs through an external album.
Evidence limits
This is oral-history evidence with conflicting or approximate memories about when the pool closed and was filled. It does not establish ownership, construction or closure dates, public-access rules, or the condition of any remaining structure.

- Participants recalled using the pool and showers in the early 1970s, a 1974–1975 Island Tours description of the sand-filled pool, and reports that it had been filled by the mid-1970s or early 1980s. A participant later posted three 1973 family photographs via an external album. The recollections do not establish exact construction, closure, fill date, ownership, or present remains; the external photographs are not treated as locally preserved assets here.forum · www.beaverislandforum.com · 09 · t009640
