Summary
The May–June 1968 Beaver Beacon reported a farewell reception at the convent on June 4 before the Dominican Sisters left Beaver Island aboard the Beaver Islander on June 7. Sister Cletus, O.P., had served on the island for 15 years, and Sister Wilma, O.P., for two; neither was expected to return in the fall.
