Summary
The tall ship Dennis Sullivan rescued three fishermen from a boat that sank 11 miles off the Florida coast. During the rescue, a wave punched a one-foot hole in the schooner; high-school students aboard kept the bilge pumps running and a crew member installed a temporary plywood patch. The fishermen were later transferred to the Coast Guard.
