Summary
The Beacon profiled longtime Beaver Island resident and working artist Cindy Ricksgers, whose collage and collagraph work used time as a recurring theme. The article described more than 100 daily “diary pieces,” magic, bright, and dark collage series, a set of thirteen collagraphs inspired by Native American moons, and a planned series inspired by medieval monastic hours. Her work was available at Livingstone Studio and online; the article also said she would be featured at Montage on Beaver Island in 2009.
Evidence limits
