Summary

The August 2011 Beacon reports that Ted Nicholas completed a twelve-minute Beaver Island Chamber of Commerce marketing video by mid-July. More than 1,500 high-definition images from 44 contributors were submitted; 225 images made the final cut, accompanied by Nicholas’s original song, I Dream of the Island. The September issue reports that the Chamber premiere received unanimous praise and that the video was available online while DVD distribution was planned.
